Who We Are

Mrythm builds constraint-driven software for complex industrial systems.

The company focuses on problems where economics, engineering, and operating constraints must be evaluated together, but typically are not. In many industrial domains, decisions are still made using conservative heuristics because the full feasible operating space is not explicitly computed.

Mrythm develops deterministic, engineering-grounded tools that make these trade-offs visible and actionable.

Founded by Suresh Sundaram and Ashok Subramanian.

Suresh Sundaram

Chemical engineer (PhD, MIT) focused on building deterministic, constraint-driven software for industrial systems.

His work spans four domains that are rarely connected in one career:

  • Chemistry — process modeling and optimization at Aspen Technology
  • Physics — Lattice-Boltzmann based fluid flow simulation at Exa Corporation / Dassault Systèmes
  • Biology / Agronomy — crop modeling and simulation at Cibo Technologies
  • Construction — connected construction systems at Trimble

Across these domains, the common thread is deterministic, constraint-driven optimization—translating real-world systems into computable models and solving them at scale.

Ashok Subramanian

Software and systems builder focused on turning complex models into production-grade products.

His experience spans AT&T Labs, Oracle, Aspen Technology, Dassault Systèmes, CentralSquare Technologies, and multiple software ventures.

He brings depth in product architecture, cloud systems, and deployment—ensuring that what is modeled can actually be delivered, operated, and scaled.

Together, they combine cross-domain modeling with the ability to build and deploy industrial software that actually runs in production.

Computes the feasible space of concrete mixtures under real production constraints—including materials, performance, and carbon— and identifies cost-efficient solutions within that space, replacing conservative overdesign with explicit optimization.
